I couldn't get past this part: "Grass? But it's so boring." God certainly would not consider the plant group that feeds most of the world's population boring. (amber waves of grain and all that...) Not sure where god would stand on erosion, but most common lawn "weeds" don't have extensive root systems to retain soil.
